We, the citizens of Quardu-Gboni District residing in the United States of America, have learned again with serious disappointment that the Liberia Cocoa and Coffee Corporation (LCCC) land issue has again resurfaced. This time, we have received copies of two different letters. The first letter was written by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs-Varney Sirleaf; and the second letter was written by Honorable Mariamu Fofana, Representative of District #4. The both letters state that they want to engage the citizens of Quardu-Gboni regarding the LCCC Concession Agreement in the Quardu-Gboni District, during the weekend of March 25-27, 2016. We would like to clearly and unequivocally re-state that we are totally opposed to any such engagement. Please click LCCC’s Land Issue for more details!
