Profile of: Lasana Trawally
I am a citizen of
Nyamakamanue, Quardu-Gboni
District, and Lofa County,
Liberia and a founding
member of the Quardu-Gboni
Mandingo Association dated
as far back to 1975. Not
until 1976 when the
Urban-Branch and the rural
branch merged to form one
unique Association under one
leadership.
I have served this
Association in several
capacities; first as
founding member and
President of the Rural based
Association, Vice President
of the overall Association
in two terms.
Between 2006 and 2007, I
served as Interim President
with the mandate to
rejuvenate the Association;
the results of which have
brought all of us together
again to respond to the
Wake-Up-Call of our people
back home who are striving
tirelessly to recover from
the effects of the fourteen
years war in Liberia.
