In the area of health
care support services
for the District, the
Convention resolved to
the following to wit:
As a measure to help
reduce the incidents of
death by malaria, QGMA
will explore the
possibility of securing
mosquito nets for
distribution to families
with children,
Support the undertaking
of public health
education to enhance
sanitation,
Assist with the
construction of public
latrines/toilets and the
digging of water wells,
and
Undertake the
mobilization of medical
supplies and medication
for shipment to the
District in support of
medical facilities
there.
In the area of
Agriculture, the
Convention resolved to
explore areas for
possible assistance in
the following areas:

Farming implements as
well as opening
dilapidated
farm-to-market roads
throughout the district,
-
Revitalize the
Quardu-Gboni Farmers’
Corporative;
-
Encourage communal
farming through
exploring means of
needed support.

Assess possibility of
establishing storage
facilities for
perishable goods.

Seek scholarship means
for agriculture students
who commit themselves to
serve the district upon
course completion.
-
Set up a committee that
will explore the
possibility and
condition for acquiring
seeds needed for various
areas of farming,
especially rice.
